"`St. James Park, South Elmham. A family of the name of Lawrence were of St. James Park. There was of that family a very worthy man, who had fled for religion in Queen Mary's day, and was privately a teacher of a congregation of such as so fled from their habitation, when they could at any time get together. In his old age he was preacher at Fressingfield, and as he was a man of great estate, so was he of great liberality to the poor, and full of good works.
