197. Jesse Root7 Grant (Noah6, Noah5, Noah4, Samuel3, Samuel2, Matthew1) was born on 23 Jan 1794 at Westmoreland Co., PA. He married Hannah Simpson, daughter of John Simpson Jr. and Rebecca Weir, on 24 Jun 1821 at Point Pleasant, Ohio. He died on 29 Jun 1873 at Covington, KY, at age 79.
Hannah and Jesse were married at the Simpson homestead, Bantam, Ohio, by the Rev. Moses Edwards.
Children of Jesse Root7 Grant and Hannah Simpson were as follows:

ii. Samuel Simpson; born 23 Sep 1825 at Georgetown, Brown Co., OH; died 13 Sep 1861 at St. Paul, MN, at age 35.
Died unmarried.
iii. Clara Rachel; born 11 Dec 1828 at Georgetown, OH; died 6 Mar 1865 at Covington, KY, at age 36.
iv. Virginia Paine; born 20 Feb 1832 at Georgetown, OH; married Abel Rathbone Corbin Hon. 13 May 1869.
v. Orvil Lynch; born 15 May 1835 at Georgetown, OH; married Mary Medary Apr 1857.
vi. Mary Frances; born 28 Jul 1839 at Georgetown, OH; married Michael John Cramer Rev. 27 Oct 1863 at Covington, KY.
