This William's father, whose name has not been ascertained, left issue, The son, William Flegg, who died in 1426, leaving issue, I. William, died 1467. II. Thomas The son, Thomas Flegg of county Norfolk, died 1471 leaving issue a son, William Flegg of Swafield, county Norfolk, 1521, in the reign of Henry VIII. He had issue, five sons, 1. Willliam of Saint Germans, Wiggenhall, in Norfolk. His will, dated 8 Apr and proved 4 Jul 1552 mentions his brothers Richard, John, James of Shipdham, and Thomas of Swafield, wife Margaret, his son William [undr age] and other children not mentioned by name. His brother Richard was executor. By Margaret, his wife he had issue, three daughters and a son, William, Vicar of Felthorpe in 1578.
