"...John Lawrence baptized at Wisset Oct 8, 1609; came to New England in 1630, and settled atWatertown. In 1662 he removed to Groton, where he died July 11, 1667, aged 58. He is named in a deposition of his brother Robert, dated 1639, as of New England...Robert, bap. at Wisset, Sept. 16, 1612..."
