Daughter of David Barber and Lydia Newell Stanley, his wife. Granddaughter of Daniel Barber and Hannah Cobb, his wife. Great granddaughter of David Barber and Sarah Lawrence, his wife... "David Barber (1746-1783) left the field where he was plowing and responded to the first call for troops. He was born in Simsbury Connecticut; died in removing to Vermont."
NOTES Descendants of Levi Barber- LJE Jun 2001: "Col David Barber...was born 19 May 1799 in Onondaga County New York. He married Lydia Newell Stanley 14 Jun 1827 in Grahams Station Ohio...They resided at Chester until 1845 when removed to Harmar Ohio where they are now living (1879)."
