Lieut Gershom Flagg
...Lieut Gershom Flagg was admitted freeman in Watertown 27 May 1676 and according to North's History of Augusta ME was slain by Indians at Lamprey River NH 6 Jul 1690- presumably while on an expedition against Port Royal Acadia in French territory. His widow married 10 Dec 1696 Ensign Israel Walker, whose first wife had died 9 Mar 1694.
